As Allison and I have been processing through the details of adoption we have been watching TONS of videos. We are daily looking for more stories, inspiration and information.
In the process we came to find the blog of Heather Whittaker, wife of Carlos Whittaker @ Buckhead Church in ATL. They adopted an adorable kid from Korea a while back with the same agency we are using. Therefor we have really read through their blog entries. In doing so we found this video. It is a familiar sight from some of my travels to Haiti. But, it is a good way to explain why we want to adopt from Africa.
You will not be the same after watching this video….It’s a guarantee. After seeing this, you will understand more of our heart for adoption.
I am a husband, father and pastor in that order. My heart is to give what I have, all of what I have, to see people fall in love with Jesus. My heart is for God's church, missions and adoption. I wanna see followers of Jesus leave a lasting mark on the culture we live in.

Thank you for posting this. My church is starting an Uganda Adoption ministry this year. I’ve been sorting through pictures of orphans. This video came just at the right time. May our hearts be softened. God Bless you as you continue to seek adoption.
